I have had several people ask me for input on Starlink vs anything else. It's a little pricey but once its up and running it has been 5 stars for the people that have relays ANYTHING to me. I have T-mobile and it is better than the AT&T I had but I opted to go with them over starlink because I could get it the same day. I do have a buddy that got it and if you sign up under his account he gets a little credit for it and it doesnt cost you a dime. Missing you guys! Probably 40 people have either email, called, texted or stopped me in public asking about the radio station coming back. The truth is we hope so but in the mean time I am going to try and keep the segments going on the JacoToday podcast. Check out the first episode I did this morning and let me know what you think. WJAQ Radio Update on our tower currently our engineer is working to put a temporary tower up. We are working hard to get back on the air!!! Our gratitude goes out to The City of Marianna William Long , and the Marianna Police Dept Chief Hayes Baggett and all of the workers who helped out today! Definitely, a community effort to resolve issues in a prompt and courteous manner! We Appreciate everyone! We are glad everyone is safe! We have been hit with a Hurricane, A pandemic and now our tower falling, I wondered if we would survive at first.. But now with our wonderful customers, listeners and community! I say ABSOLUTELY! Tower Down: WJAQ 100.9 FM Experiences Unexpected Outage, But Powerful Steps Are Being Taken to Restore Service

Marianna, Fl 05/10/2023 – Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, listeners of WJAQ 100.9 FM may have noticed that the station's tower has gone down. The cause of the issue is physical damage at the tower site, and we are working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible. We hope to be back on the air no later than Monday May 15.

However, in a promising turn of events, WJAQ's dedicated team in cooperation with the tower owner has already made significant progress in getting the station back on air. They are working on securing a temporary tower, which will allow us to broadcast at full power and continue to deliver the quality programming that our loyal listeners have come to expect.

While the tower may be down, WJAQ's commitment to providing outstanding content never wavers. We are pleased to announce that our station is still streaming online at wjaqfm.com and press play now , ensuring that our audience can continue to enjoy their favorite country hits uninterrupted.
