Students in Professor Corbin’s “The Brontes” class planted Bleeding Heart flowers in front of Bradley House to honor their classmate Caroline Rogers.

“These plants symbolize our hearts and our love in front of a building where Caroline spent so much time as an English major,” Cronin said.

Hundreds of students, faculty, staff, monks, and community members gathered on the quad in front of Alumni Hall to honor the tragic loss of Caroline Rogers, an English major from the Class of 2025.

The service offered a moment of reflection and prayer for the Saint Anselm community, many openly grieving at this time.

The sixth abbatial election of the Saint Anselm Abbey has been suspended, leaving the community on bated breath as the monastic community awaits answers from higher authorities. This could indicate a consultation with the Vatican.

This morning Saint A's celebrated the 20th annual Thanksgiving basket blessing! A grand total of 154 baskets were generously donated by members of the Anselmian community. The baskets will be delivered to families in need via 3 local charities. 🧺🦃🫶🏻

Today, Prof. Gary Bouchard read from his new book of poetry, *What News, Horatio?*. The reading was a wonderful event, hosted and organized by Prof. Ann Holbrook and Prof. Patrick Meighan. Prof. Bouchard's new poems were funny but also thoughtful, meaningful, and well-crafted. We will post photos as soon as we have them, but in the meantime, enjoy this one of four old colleagues/friends/alumnus: (R to L) Prof. Gary Bouchard; Hugh Bouchard, English department, class of 1996; former English faculty and chair Dan Reagan, and our recently retired beloved Prof. Landis Magnuson, of the English department and the Abbey Players.
