For $10.00, you can come sew in our awesome classroom all day! Please call in advance to make sure there is space available! Please note that if you need to borrow a Bernina, we need to know when you sign up for the session. WE WILL NOT BE SETTING UP ANY MACHINES THE DAY OF CLASS. No exceptions. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are on the list to have a machine set up.

This bag is a great way to showcase a beautiful print fabric and maybe some quilting. It has many pockets, both inside and out. The strap is adjustable for shoulder length or cross body. It finishes with easy to install hardware – no zippers. Great for confident beginners.
RELAX THE BACK QUILT BASTING

Do you dread basting your quilts? Do you wish you had a method that didn’t involve crawling on the floor, nasty chemicals and less than perfect results? Come spend a couple hours learning an easy, totally ergonomic way to baste while sitting in a chair, working only within easy reach. And the results are perfect! This demonstration class covers not only the method, but also what tools work best.

DELIGHTFUL DESERT

These cute critters are really fun to make and the piecing is much easier than you might think. The pattern gives you options for 3 different sizes (the class sample is the middle size). The class covers techniques for success including rotary cutting, accurate ¼” seams and pressing. You are welcome to work on any Elizabeth Hartman pattern – including Fancy Forest, Awesome Ocean, Dogs in Sweaters, or Greenhouse – there are a whole bunch more.

PAINTED FOREST

A modern scrappy quilt that goes together very quickly and very easily with few seams to match. The finished size is 60 x 60 inches, which makes a great lap quilt. The pattern can easily be adapted for larger or smaller sizes. Come play with color & prints to create your own unique forest!
TUFFETT

Tuffets can add a touch of whimsy to your home that blend with all decors and bridge the gap between design and function. In addition to being heirloom home accents, they make treasured gifts for special occasions including weddings, new babies, anniversaries and special birthdays.
Join us and learn to sew a gorgeous tuffet cover during the first class session and turn that cover into an upholstered footstool during the second session.
In addition to the fabric required for the tuffet (see supply list), you will also need the Tuffet Source 18” Pieced Tuffet Pattern and the Tuffet Finishing Kit. The pattern and Finishing Kit includes everything you need to turn your fabric into a completed tuffet. These are available through Lyons Quilting and should be ordered in advance so they are available in plenty of time before the class.
