*********** UPDATE *********
Omnivision update has been released (v2.3.3). Everything is tested and working well. Also there are Firmware Updates on Firesticks, be sure to check to make sure yours is up to date. This is in the My Fire TV, then click on about, and check for updates. Have a great weekend !

Many of you have seen Omnivision asking for an update but when you try and do the update it fails. This is a large update and fixes a lot of the issues we have been waiting on. Here are the instructions on how to get the update to work.
From your Firestick Home:
• Press the HOME button on your remote
• Press the FIND icon that looks like a magnifying glass.
• Click on the SEARCH bar under FIND.
• Type the letter D.
• DOWNLOADER should appear at the bottom.
• Click on DOWNLOADER.
• Click on DOWNLOADER again.
• Click where it asks for the URL code right above the word GO.
• Type the following URL code.
• (SEE EMAIL or text me for correct URL)
• Press GO
• Click INSTALL. Then DONE.
• If it takes you to unknown apps make sure DOWNLOADER and OMNIVISION are on then click the BACK button on your remote and hit INSTALL again.
• Once you have installed it press OPEN and you are now updated.
As with all new updates it follows with the chance something else might act up so, please be patient and if you want to wait to add the update it will not affect your current viewing habits. My guess is in a week or two the Download will happen automatically, and you will not have to go through this process. Each Firestick will need to be updated. Hope this was helpful. Omnivision Subscribers
With the new update came a few other issues. If you have not installed the new update I would wait a couple of weeks until my next email to install it. If you have already installed it DO NOT CLEAR YOUR CACHE until you are given the all clear on my next email. If you clear your cache your system will lock you out if this happens give me a call to correct the issue.

The newest version is 2.3.1

Current issues with new version are
No subtitles - being worked on
System locking up - Cache issue

Please give them a couple of weeks to address the issues until then do not download the newest download.

There is an issue with the automated Update. Its currently being worked on by the IT Staff. You can still perform the update, but you'll need to manually update it in the Downloader Application. Remember, you can use the Installation instructions on the website. If you do not have the password to access, contact Tony via text. :
