On the brand new episode, Tim Pogo speaks with Sylas Iralu Fndz), who lives in Puerto Rico. For nearly 40 years, Sylas had a secret. Only, even he didn't know it. When he finally did discover who he really is and the life that he wants to lead, he still had a difficult time convincing himself to believe it. And that made it even harder to share it with others.
Having been assigned female at birth, Sylas identifies as male. He tells us about his journey and the struggles he encountered becoming the person he wanted to be.
It's a story of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and being respected by your loved ones, your community, and society. We hope you tune in!

It's on any podcast provider that you like, from Apple Podcasts, to Google Podcastssts and Spotifyy...or right here on the Same Boat website (where you also get extra content!)

As a continuation of our topic in the last episode, we remain in Iceland for Part 2. Episode 5 is live! This time, Tim Pogo speaks with Betty Encinales. Her story of growing up in Colombia having everything, then nothing, then building her life back to being one of success and vibrance, is one of resilience.
She has lived through some things none of us would ever wish for, but the way in which she has come out on the other end is inspiring.

Betty is a self-made businesswoman, triathlete, and philanthropist. She's from Colombia, and although based in London, she's currently back in her home city of Bogota. Her life can best be described as a roller coaster...starting high, to the lowest lows, to the highest highs. But her story of resil...
