This style has been on repeat for… my whole life. When something works well & I can do it in under a minute, it’s a keeper! 😁 And, BONUS, I get compliments every time I wear my hair like this.☺️
🎀 If you’re into the Bow Trend (I’m almost 46, so no bows on top of the head for me, lol), a skinny little ribbon would be super cute over the elastic!

🩷 Pro Tips:
1. Only wrap elastic a few times, 3-5 times depending on size of section. The elastic needs to be able to slide easily with tightening!
2. When making the hole that you’ll pull the ponytail through… divide the hair off center. It just looks softer when it’s not divided right in the middle.
3. When pulling to tighten the ponytail (don’t tighten until after you do the pull through) take a little chunk of hair from either side of the pony tail, pull those only to tighten it up. This will give super cute volume to the bump:)
4. Go back and even out the style by loosening little pieces in the pouf! Hold the elastic down on the head with the other hand while loosening so the elastic stays in place!
5. NEVER unwind elastics. They’re one time use! Take a hot curling and tap the elastic and it will just pop open.

noodles are the answer
This is how to make some dan dan noodles a household fav:
- boil some noodles and vegetable of your choice
- cook down some ground pork with
- shaoxing rice wine
- dark soy sauce
- ginger
- garlic
- ya cai (optional, but not really)
- make a sauce with
- sesame paste, sugar, soy sauce, chinese black vinegar, msg, chili oil, noodle water
- Top the noodles with the meat and sauce
- and throw some crushed toasted peanuts and green onions on there too

This is by far the best view I’ve seen so far in my travels around Switzerland-also it may just be the best view I’ve seen in my entire life. Being in this vibrant green grassy meadow on the edge of a cliff, thousand’s of feet above the valley below. Looking across at the towering mountain peaks of Jungfraujoch, Silberhorn, Gspaltenhorn, and many more as far as the eye can see. This really felt like paradise to me, and it is the happy place in my mind that I frequently go back to.
