This morning was full of steelhead,coho and a couple trout. We caught 17 but I bet we lost 25 if not it sure felt like it. We have monday,Tuesday,Thursday and Friday afternoons open next week and only a handful of dates for August. We will be chartering the lake though sept 10 then switching to the river. We have open dates mornings and afternoons for September1-10.

❤️ Good catch and release!

Luke and Jason had a surprise on the line a few weeks ago. Luke shared, “Once in awhile when you go fishing you catch something different, needle in the haystack different. Jason hooked this beautiful animal, that is a Spotted Eagle Ray! Here at Cape Hatteras we are at the most northern part of their range. They are common down in Florida and further south. The ray was released quickly so it would live the rest of its life!”
