I am sure that most have heard that Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges, along with the pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa were killed in a plane crash in a remote area near Gillette, Wyoming on their way to Seattle for the Gaither Alaskan Cruise. Our prayers are with Autumn and all of the family and friends of The Nelon Family.

I wanted to thank each one who came out for the Fulton County Observance of the National Day of Prayer last night. Although I would have liked to have seen the sanctuary at Wesley United Methodist Church filled to capacity, those who were suppose to be there were. I know there were some who because of the weather didn't venture out and I do understand. Thank you to Angie Hale who led our Worship time. Thank you to Pastor John Herndon who had an incredible word as our speaker. Also, thank you to those who prayed for our Churches, Government, Media, Families, Business, Education and the Military. Again, thank you to those who turned out. Prayer is an important part of our spiritual life! As a pastor friend of mine always says, 'a praying church is a powerful church.' God bless you all and looking forward to an even bigger event next year!

I've been praying about this decision for several days. I have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast and have consulted with a few friends who have helped organize outdoor events and I have reached the decision to move the Fulton County Observance of the National Day of Prayer inside to the sanctuary at Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton. When it comes to sound equipment with a strong possibility of rain and thunderstorms being in the forecast I wanted to give people attending plenty of notice of the change. I know it is beautiful right now, but tomorrow it is looking like a different story. In the end, I might have been able to hold it outdoor but I would rather error on the side of caution. Please share this post and let those planning to attend know about the change in location. Thank you for understanding.

I'm still in shock of the announcement yesterday that Christian Singer Mandisa passed away Thursday at the age of 47. I had the opportunity to see her in concert a few years ago at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. What an amazing God given talent. Mandisa was able to worship God through her pain. She will be missed but her music will live on!!!

We at Legacy Media Group are continuing our efforts to raise funds for day to day operations. Being totally funded will allow us to do ministry work that we believe God has called us to do. That includes going to Truck Stops and offering Bible Studies to truck drivers and really anyone that is traveling. The Bible Studies would be on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. The ministry would also include reaching out into communities that are what would be considered low income. We also have a ministry of eight Christian Internet Radio Stations. We are looking for 400 individuals, churches, businesses or organizations who would pray about becoming a Friend of Legacy Media Group and Partner in Christ. We are asking for a commitment of $10 a month or a once a year gift of $120. We do ask that you pray about doing it first before making a commitment.
