Tonight and tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Central Time on PraiseNation Internet Radio we will be airing an hour of music from The Nelon Family. For those who have not heard, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges, along with the pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa were killed when the plane crashed in a remote area near Gillette, Wyoming on their way to Seattle for the Gaither Alaskan Cruise. Our prayers are with Autumn and all of the family and friends of The Nelon Family.

I've been praying about making some tweaks to the coffee and karaoke and after talking to some friends this is what we came up with. I hope to see you on August 4th. Everyone is welcome!!!

You don't want to miss the next JC, Coffee, Christian Karaoke & Open Mic that will be taking place on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Wesley Hall. Door will open at 2:30 for a time of fellowship and the Christian Karaoke/Open Mic will begin at 3 p.m. and will go until 5 p.m. Bring your voice and guitar or if you would rather play the piano, we will have it mic'd as well. Also, if you would rather just listen, come for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and singing and praising God. Also, if you have a comedic personality and want to try your hand at Christian Comedy. Maybe you are the next Tim Hawkins, Chondra Pierce, Michael Jr., Brad Stone or Mickey Bell? Come give it a try but make sure you keep in clean. There is no charge. It is a free event open to the public but donations to Legacy Media Group, a 501 (c) 3 Public Charity, will be accepted. Feel free to invite your friends and to share this

I'm still in shock of the announcement yesterday that Christian Singer Mandisa passed away Thursday at the age of 47. I had the opportunity to see her in concert a few years ago at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. What an amazing God given talent. Mandisa was able to worship God through her pain. She will be missed but her music will live on!!!

We at Legacy Media Group are continuing our efforts to raise funds for day to day operations. Being totally funded will allow us to do ministry work that we believe God has called us to do. That includes going to Truck Stops and offering Bible Studies to truck drivers and really anyone that is traveling. The Bible Studies would be on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. The ministry would also include reaching out into communities that are what would be considered low income. We also have a ministry of eight Christian Internet Radio Stations. We are looking for 400 individuals, churches, businesses or organizations who would pray about becoming a Friend of Legacy Media Group and Partner in Christ. We are asking for a commitment of $10 a month or a once a year gift of $120. We do ask that you pray about doing it first before making a commitment. I've been fighting sinus infection the past few days but worked through it. Today have been working on the schedule for both GodTalk Internet Radio and TalkingJesusAndSports Internet Radio. Got scheduling done for each hour on TalkingJesusAndSports Internet Radio. I will be fine tuning it because I have a few more podcasts that im talking to and if things go well we'll I will be adding those podcasts to the schedule. It's an exciting time to see doors open.
