We couldn't be more excited to announce that multi-award-winning actor Robert LaSardo has agreed to join the cast of "A Toy Maker". He asked us if there was a roll! It can't get any better than that. He is best known for his portrayal of Escobar Gallardo on the FX hit series Nip/Tuck. He has also appeared in the Warner Brothers film The Mule, playing opposite Clint Eastwood. LaSardo has over 200 acting credits, and a few Producing credits and is the Writer and Director of American Trash. He has extensive chest, neck, and arm tattoos. He is an Italian American and Native American. Make sure to pick up your perk to act in a scene with him! Welcome to the team Robert!

6 Wheels from Hell!" is Evan Allen's audacious dip into the realm of horror-comedy, a genre that requires a deft hand and a sharp sense of humor. With its distinct style, unique plot, and fascinating cinematography, it becomes clear that Allen understands the scale of balance needed for such a genre.

One of the very powerful elements of this film is the narrative's daring premise. The notion of a Psycho Truck Driver roaming the countryside with a torture chamber inside his 'Murder Bus' is evocative and profoundly disturbing. However, Allen handles it with such clever humor that there's a distinct tinge of dark comedy intertwined with the horror aspect, creating a fascinatingly dynamic genre-bender.

From the opening shot tracking the Murder Bus moving across barren landscapes, instilling a sense of unsheltered vulnerability, to the tight shots inside the chamber as a claustrophobic nightmare unfolds, the cinematography brilliantly encapsulates a sense of fear while entertaining viewers at the same time. Cinematographer Dustin Robison's creative use of anamorphic lenses and saturation control amplifies both the comic and visual elements of the movie, delivering a compelling viewing experience.

The young cast of college-bound teens showcases a remarkable range of emotional depth and comedic timing that makes for a convincing ensemble performance. They successfully convey a sense of panic and helplessness, counterbalanced with unexpected moments of levity, a perfectly fitting ex*****on for a film that dabbles in both horror and comedy. The Psycho Truck Driver, portrayed by Mark Anthony Baca, is terrifying and comedic in equal parts; his ability to switch seamlessly between a menacing murderer and a rambunctic comic figure is notable, adding another layer to the unique vibe of the film.

The visual effects and makeup departments deserve a round of applause for their contribution, creating believable gore effects that are gruesomely fabulous, and using lighting in a masterful way to highlight the graphic and hilarious moments. It’s this juxtaposition of ghastly sequences and hilarious punchlines that makes "6 Wheels from Hell!" stand out in a league of its own.

Worthy of mention is the exceptional sound design that accompanies the film.
