I wrote this song in one of the darkest times of my life and it truly scared the Hell out of me, Anxiety and Depression is something I have lived with my entire life. The scary this about depression is that it's a self battle of the mind and spirit that hovers like a dark cloud and a voice that constantly whispers inside the mind poisoning everything that has a possibility and doubting yourself from all angles enlightening the stupidity of hopeful decision, tripping you down the stairs to step one of self happiness. This song actually started off as a su***de letter and an attempt in 2017 sadly but I woke up like from a dark dream while attempting to hang myself a few years ago and something inside said try another angle at your life and from the bottom view there was only one place to go but to crawl out of the dark Pity sea and try dry land and light metaphorically speaking instead of the comfortable limitations of darkness and self disappointment. I at my age have lost friends and family members due to Su***de and these were people who made me laugh and that I was envious of their smiles once upon a time, because I have always been slightly jealous of seeing joy naturally. I found myself seeking solace through empty pathways of decisions and being in my own way. I hope this song can be a mantra or a beacon of light in your life to merely say you're not alone and everyone thinks of the dark thoughts that appear like a dark twin mirrored refection. Wipe away that tearful reflection and know that tomorrow is another day to see what you're still capable of becoming. You are worthy of love and were put on this earth to give energy and to be a working cog in this game of life. It's never too late to start over again, it's hard but every happy ending starts with a 1st step so take yours today and make HISTORY remember you!- RWM
