We're seeking submissions for our 2022-23 Student Media Academic Calendar! 🗓️

The contest theme this year is NMSU Gone RETRO, which means you can pile on your favorite retro aesthetics, colors, shapes and patterns on your favorite sculptures, buildings and sights on campus!

Submissions can include manipulated images, creative renderings of buildings, colorful takes on campus architecture, paintings, drawings, and other digital works - all with a retro twist!

Submit your photo creations to the Submission Form on the Student Media Crimson Connection Page.
Deadline to submit is Jan 21st, 2022

NEXT WEEK!! We're holding a canned food drive the week of November 15th through the 19th, benefitting Las Cruces-area community food banks for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Students and donors can drop off their non-perishable food donations at the Student Media offices in Corbett Center from 9am-4pm throughout the week.

PLUS! Join us from 5-7pm at Pete's Patio on Nov. 17th for Open Mic Wednesdays to donate your items and be entered in the raffle for a FREE Village Inn Pie Gift Certificate! For the raffle, every 2 cans/food items will count as 1 raffle entry.

KRUX will be competing with its sister organization NMSU Round Up to see which team can raise the greatest amount of donations and be the winner of the coveted Golden Can Trophy, so come participate by 'voting' for your favorite Student Media org and give back to the community!
