WMPC 1230 AM & 106.9FM is owned and operated by the Calvary Bible Church of Lapeer, Michigan. The station began broadcasting on December 6, 1926 from a homemade transmitter in the Methodist Protestant Church. WMPC is the oldest continuously operating Christian radio stations in the United States. WMPC 1230AM & 106.9FM plays a careful mix of inspirational music and God honoring programs, which cont
inue to meet the needs of listeners in Lapeer, Flint, Imlay City and Northern Oakland County. WMPC is non-commercial and holds a Sharathon to raise the revenue needed to continue broadcasting.

Ministry Monday with A Call to the Nation
Our ministry partners at A Call to the Nation "encourage and equip a generation willing to pray, willing in God’s power to rise up and plead for mercy on behalf of others. Pastor Carter Conlon says: “As God’s people we have a responsibility to believe God for the power to find the full purpose that He has for our life!”

Good Friday Day! Let's pray for these folks whom we met at the Genesee County Fair last night.
--Tasha's daughter is moving to pursue more education. Please pray for strength and perseverance for this teen.
--Sarah is asking that God's will be done in upcoming elections.
--Courtney wants to get back into attending a good church.
--Isabelle need healing in her foot.
--The Bottoms family is asking the Lord for good, healthy lives.
--Phyllis is praying for peace in this world.
--Aaron, Maria, Kyle, and Brooklyn are asking the Lord for healing in Aaron's spine. He has been in a wheelchair for 3 years.
--Shawn has widespread cancer and needs salvation in Christ now. God could still choose to heal her, but her husband William is facing the prospect of losing his wife.

Ministry Monday with WMPC and the Genesee County Fair
The Genesee County Fair is a family tradition that spans 172 years in Genesee County. Woven into the fabric of our American heritage, the Fair provides an environment of common ground where people can socialize, be entertained and participate in events that ultimately make the community stronger by offering one of the few remaining links between people and land.
This is another amazing opportunity for the ministry of WMPC to share the Gospel and to hand out free Kid's Bibles. Please pray as WMPC staff serve the Lord and participate in the community event by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Visit or listen to WMPC as we reach others with the love of Christ from our booth at the Genesee County Fair on Tuesday, August 20th, through Thursday, August 22nd, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm!

Praise God For the Salvation of 13 year old Jatavia!
She came to our booth with her mom and two brothers.
Her brother asked to hear the story of Jesus and Jatavia prayed for Salvation.
Pray for her as she faces terminal cancer. Ask God to embrace His new daughter.

Ministry Monday with WMPC and Eastern Michigan State Fair Week
WMPC will be at the Eastern Michigan State Fair in Imlay City all week (Tuesday thru Saturday). Local events are a wonderful way of how WMPC's outreach ministry engages with the community and shares the Gospel. Please pray for opportunities for the radio station to share the Gospel during the fair. We will be praying with people and giving out Kid’s Bibles! If you're in the neighborhood and are planning on attending the fair, come visit the WMPC booth in the Big Blue Building from Noon to 10pm.

Our ministry partners at Discover the Word come together to discuss important topics centered on the Bible.
This week begins the series, The Fiery Furnace. The "Fiery Furnace" plays an important role in how the story of the Bible is told. We all experience living in a fiery furnace—living in a world that still has evil and sin and destruction—we can look forward to the day when Jesus will burn away all that is evil, leaving all that is truly good.
