For years, a partnership between Habitat for Humanity and the Lenawee Intermediate School District thrived with opportunities to give students real world experience building homes and supporting their local neighbors. These trade skills were incredibly invaluable and taught students all the way from the basics to how to build a home. Unfortunately, the program halted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, the partnership is breathing new life and will continue soon within the school systems and community!

Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County hosted its annual Farm to Table dinner event, aiming to showcase the various ways it supports the community through its services. This video was created to highlight their repair program. At its heart, the Repair Program aims to assist those who need help with a structural repair to their home. In this case, we were able to capture a beautiful story of a ramp installation to help a family with a special need.

We are SO EXCITED to be working with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MI, Lansing, to help share the incredible work they are doing for kids in need in the community. We recently had the opportunity to capture the first in a series of videos for Lenawee County Habitat For Humanity for an upcoming fall event that we're so excited to be a part of. There will be a series of five videos highlighting all the areas that Habitat For Humanity is helping serve in Lenawee County. This recording covered the newly revitalized relationship between HFH and the Lenawee Intermediate School District. We're so excited to help share these incredible stories with you all in the coming months! It's gonna be a busy summer!

In our second week of classes, we learned all about the world of lighting and sound! While it may seem like a second thought for those not in the world of videography, lighting and sound can make or break a video. We had a great time filming the remainder of the students' short film, which will have its own red-carpet premiere on Wednesday! Here are some of our favorite photos from this week's class! During this class, students learned the fundamentals of lighting and sound. Also, how to set up a scene using natural lighting, and learning the importance of sound and how that can make or break the editing process.
