Don’t worry, everyone — I didn’t purposefully miss the past two weekends of this decade’s biggest news 😅 I was back in Wisconsin at my boyfriend’s cabin for a much-needed vacation! 🌲 I wish I could say I’m back and ready to see you all through the airwaves again, but 12 hours after we got home…Covid hit us both like it’s 2020 all over again 🤒 it’s hitting me pretty hard (thank goodness Rizzo is a cuddly cat!) so I’m very very hopeful I’ll be back on air this weekend, but we’ll see. In the meantime, I’m so grateful to have such understanding managers, thoughtful viewers, and caring coworkers that are constantly checking in on me. I’ll see you all so soon, just gotta kick this virus to the curb first! 👊🏻🦠

McKenna Alexander graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, emphasizing in Radio/TV Reporting & Anchoring. During her time at the University of Missouri, she worked for NBC-affiliate KOMU in Columbia. Since graduating, she began working as the anchor and producer on weekends alongside reporting as a multimedia journalist on weekdays.
