Oswego Creative Lighting Tip #3
Part of our job as cinematographers is to create lighting that matches the feeling we are trying to portray. We would use this lighting set-up to create a darker, moodier, more dramatic feel during an interview.
Our Skills: Color Grading
Color grading can truly change the whole feel of a video. In these shots, we wanted to make a highly dramatic look that matches the sleek design of the car. This involved us white balancing in a way that gave us blue light on the car. The blue light symbolizes technology and electricity. We wanted the shots of the car to have a very mysterious look as well so we made it very high contrast and used a haze machine for heightened style!
There is nothing we love more than a satisfied client! To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your stories, and to our employees, thank you for bringing your passion and expertise to every story we share.
Behind-the-Scenes of Oswego's Pride video
A little behind-the-scenes moment from our PRIDE video last month! See here the BTS clip in direct comparison to the final product.
To capture our vision for the Pride video, we used the Ronin S gimbal to make the movement smooth and cohesive. Shooting with the Sony A7S III was ideal for the low-light environment and allowed for consistent slow-motion throughout the video.
