A 14-year-old boy was indicted on charges of attempted unaliving and aslt with a dangerous ⚔️.
A person who helped get the victim out of the water told authorities that he saw the teen and another person "taking turns" dunking the victim.
The Victim wrote in his statement that the 14 year old “started laughing and called me George Floyd".

The potato chip was invented in Saratoga Lake, NY. Its inventor was George Speck—the son of an African American father and Native American mother. Later he professionally adopted the last name Crum. While cooking in the Moon Lake Lodge Resort in NY he had a customer who said their potatoes we're too "thick" and thus he sliced it thinly and accidentally dropped it in some oil. He enjoyed the flavor and then started to sell it as a Gourmet item in his restaurant.

Did you know? The NAACP was founded on February 12, 1909, the centennial anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.

In the decades that followed, mayors of cities across the country began issuing yearly proclamations recognizing "Negro History Week." By the late 1960s, thanks in part to the civil rights movement and a growing awareness of Black identity, "Negro History Week" had evolved into Black History Month on many college campuses.

Dr. Carter Godwin Woodson, distinguished Black author, editor, publisher, and historian, recognized for his role in establishing Black History Month.
