The Latino community of Jersey City now has its home in local news with “Jersey City Latino,” a Hyper Local News Site with information and interviews on the issues and topics that affect all residents from this great North Jersey city. t with veracity and without partisanship tones. The news site editor and publisher is Marimer Navarrete, an experienced journalist and television producer of more than 15 years and who is of Puerto Rican origin and a proud resident of the city of Jersey.City

“Based on my personal experience, I noticed that many residents didn’t know what happens in the city because, unfortunately, they don’t dominate well the English language. Seeing this need existed, we decided to devote our time to produce a news site that attempts to inform them properly. In this way they could make their own decisions more intelligently,” said Navarrete, the News Site’s producer and director.
