Marine Corporal Humberto A. Sanchez died on August 26 while supporting the evacuation of Americans, Afghan partners, and our country’s allies from Kabul, Afghanistan. He was 22 years old. His body came home to Logansport, Indiana today. People lined the streets of his procession, wishing to pay their respects and to honor the young Marine’s sacrifice made in service to his country. Rest in peace, Corporal Sanchez.

While filming a harvest today down by Huntingburg, IN I learned that the stadium used in A League of Their Own was just up the road. I had to swing by on the way home.
