STATE FOOTBALL UPDATE FROM KSHSAA
TOPEKA, Kan. – With the anticipated winter storm moving into Kansas Saturday, five championship sites will kick off one hour earlier. The sites for 3A (Hutchinson), 2A (Salina), 1A (Hays) and 6-Player (Dodge City) will kickoff at Noon. Newton hosting two games for 8-Player will kickoff at 10:30 am (DI) with the second game starting at 2:00 pm (DII).
The championships for 6A (Emporia), 5A (Pittsburg) and 4A (Topeka) remain unchanged and will kickoff at 1:00 pm.
Indications show the snow will get heavier as the day progresses. Moving up the game times may allow teams, spectators and game personnel to get on the road after the game a little sooner.

Nominations for the 14th Annual Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Show are open. You will need to register for this year (login's from previous years will not work). You will go to https://trrma.net/sign-up/ and fill in all info (please note bronze membership is free, but paid memberships come with perks) Once you are registered you will then login to www.trrma.net then go to VOTE NOW Each TRRMA member may nominate one (1) nominee in each category on the first ballot. The top 10 qualified vote recipients in each category will become the official nominees on the second round ballot (the semi-final ballot). The committee researches each entry and the qualifying entries are released to the TRRMA members for the Round 2 SEMI-FINAL voting. All nominations must be submitted online via the TRRMA website to be accepted and must be received within the time frame allotted for the first round. Let's make this our biggest year yet! Eligible stations to nominate include KQZQ, KKDT, KHDL, 35 South is eligible in the Specialty Show Category and Colby Ericson is Eligible for Personality of the Year.
