My 9 week progress since I hyperextended my elbow and broke a few spots.
I wanted to post this because I think itβs important to share that when I could train again, I did. I didnβt train my injured arm for many weeks but tried to move it as much as I could handle. But not training anything at all would not do me any good, in fact it would have left me worse off.
My training has not been powerlifting focused for the last couple months. Iβm still hitting the main lifts but with no intention to step on the platform this year.
I continued to train through this injury not because I canβt live without the gym, but because I knew I should. I knew it was good for my mind and body to continue to move though it sucked at times.
Training just because I should has really been my focus since my injury. It can be lackluster and sort of βchecking the boxβ like but those are the things that make a difference in the end.
Now that Iβm feeling better Iβm just looking to take a year or so to just build muscle and choke necks. Sounds fun.
