This release just turned two years old today!
Released May 23, 2022, "It Only Hurts When I Exist" is my 4th standup release, and centers around trauma survival and recovery. I've done a lot of growing and changing in the time since recordingthis, and it's a very personal piece to me that helped me to get to where I am today in terms of self-acceptance and my own mental health.
This, like all of my albums, was a one-take live recording. This particular album is my longest recorded set, coming out to 74 minutes. It has been listened to over a million times across various streaming platforms, and continues to enjoy a wide-reaching audience in 64 countries.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this recording a possibility, and to everyonewho has enjoyed it these last couple of years! Let's do another soon!
