The ECO Channel is very proud to sponsor and collaborate with RegenWeek'24 Tulum coming together to catalyze global regeneration. This transformational festival aims to empower and inspire collaboration and cross pollination between regenerative thought leaders, practitioners, and advocates from all business sectors and industries in an in person gathering in magical, mystical, Tulum.
Regenerating our planet is not a luxury. It's a necessity, one that is essential for humanity and all life on Earth not only to survive, but to thrive. It's not just about fixing the damage caused and restoring ecosystems, it is about nurturing a flourishing living future for all.
This cannot be done without first regenerating and transforming ourselves. We must become aware of our interconnectedness with each other and with all of life, and how our every action causes a ripple effect out into the web of life. We are not separate from nature. We are a part of, and one with nature. Join this incredible initiative to regenerate ourselves and our planet starting March 21st.
Tribalize.life is RegenWeek's signature gathering and what started it all. The Regenerative Real Estate Investment Forum will include educational panels on bioconstruction, local materials and craftsmanship, regenerative finance, regenerative community masterplanning and project pitches. These are just some of the over 80+ regeneration themed events that will be happening all around Tulum in the coming weeks.
A New Earth is emerging, and regeneration is at the core of it. We are grateful for the opportunity to support and be change agents for systems transformation that will bring about a new era of thrivability, love and abundance for all living systems.🌎

Reducing meat consumption by 25% helps:
1) Increase biodiversity. Livestock production accounts for roughly 30% of current global biodiversity loss!
2) Save water. Only 4% of the water footprint of humanity relates to water use at home. Contrary, animal production requires large volumes of water, mainly to produce animal feed.
3) Reduce deforestation. Animal agriculture is one of the most significant causes of deforestation as it happens most commonly through slash-and-burn.
4) Minimize greenhouse gas emission

How fast do manatees move?
Very leisurely: 3 to 4 miles/hr as they have no known predators.
Why are manatees so friendly?
Although they move carefully in the water, manatees are friendly and easily amused.
When excited, manatees love to perform barrel rolls and body surf for entertainment. And because of their desire for interaction, some manatees will approach you when you snorkel in the water.
Why are manatees threatened?
Manatees continue to face many threats, including collisions with boats, habitat loss and degradation, fishing gear entanglement, human harassment, exposure to red tide and other harmful algal blooms, and climate change.
Environmentalists blame pollution from wastewater treatment plants, leaking septic systems, fertilizer runoff, and other sources for poisoning waterways where manatees were once abundant, and killing off seagrass.
