This photo on the left was found on an instagram page entitled “I love Hallandale beach” a page operated by Carmen Jackie Gimenez I do not endorse nor support Carmen Jackie Gimenez or Carmen Jackie Gimenez HB or any other name/platform she is going by or the other candidate listed. I never authorized the photo that myself and Commissioner Lazarow took with the IAFF union to be altered in any way or form. She has done this without my permission and it is being reported if you see it on her page on Instagram which is where she posted it under a fake page called “I love Hallandale beach” that is really her operating it please report the post and the page. All of the comments in support of her actions are also more fake pages she created and responds from. We don’t need these type of politics. The photo on the right is what the sign actually looks like with the IAFF endorsements of myself, Joy Cooper and Michele Lazarow.

I had the opportunity to engage with a voter and they shared they would be voting for all new candidates they feel they haven’t seen any change in Hallandale Beach for the last 20 years. While that is not factual everyone is entitled to their opinions. The beauty in an electoral system is having the right to vote. I thank you all for your civic engagement. I encourage you to take a look at your candidates on this ballot in this candidate forum so you know what to expect.

Among others This Was A Major Priority FOR Anabelle Lima-Taub...
From The Miami Herald-In Hallandale Beach Condo Disclosure Required Anabelle Lima-Taub, the Hallandale Beach commissioner who sponsored the legislation, said she pushed the disclosure to fix a recurring problem of condo residents not getting financial documents. "Now they're armed with the information themselves," she said.
"They can go to their next board meeting, and ask: 'Okay, why haven't we done this?"

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Hallandale Beach Commissioners say they want to go after the owners of mobile home parks in their city who aren’t taking care of their flooding problems.

“The owners are slum land lords, I’m just saying that on behalf of Annabelle, not the city,” said Hallandale Beach Vice Mayor Anabelle Lima-Taub. “There has to be some mechanism of holding these mobile home park owners responsible.”

If you have a home please consider fostering a shelter dog from the areas that will be devastated by this storm. Pablo and I are fostering a dog to ease the burden on volunteers who will need to find safe refuge. People leaving their dogs chained up are poor excuses for human beings. At least leave the dog unchained to give him a chance to escape!!!!

While most of the City of Hallandale Beach is drying out, some concerns remain, particularly within the mobile home parks. Last week, City Manager Earle instructed staff to proactively visit these communities as part of the City's storm preparedness efforts, which was well-received by residents.

We have received reports of standing water at Seville Mobile Home Park due to the recent rains. The Mayor and myself have forwarded resident concerns from several mobile home parks to the City Manager and PD. The Police Department is now conducting checks in these areas, and CM Earle has directed the Department of Public Works (DPW) to deploy our VAC truck to address standing water issues, starting with Seville.
