Goshen Sundown Town Documentary AIRS TONIGHT ON WNIT
Checkout, ‘Goshen - A Sundown Town’s Transformation’ TONIGHT at 9 p.m. on South Bend’s PBS station, PBS Michiana - WNIT , as a part of their Juneteenth celebration programming. This 30 min documentary, produced by Goshen College film students, explores Goshen, Indiana’s past as a racially exclusionary Sundown Town and how the community is finding ways to acknowledge this history and move forward.
Additional airings will include June 22nd and 25th at 4 p.m on the main WNIT channel 34.1. WNIT is also available on all the local cable and satellite networks.

Goshen Sundown Town Documentary to air on TV for Juneteenth
Checkout our new documentary, ‘Goshen - A Sundown Town’s Transformation’ on Tuesday, June 20th at 9 p.m. on South Bend’s PBS station, PBS Michiana - WNIT , as a part of their Juneteenth celebration programming. This 30 min documentary, produced by Goshen College film students, explores Goshen’s past as a racially exclusionary Sundown Town and how the community is finding ways to acknowledge this history and move forward.
Additional airings will include June 19th at 8:30 p.m. on WNIT channel 34.2, and June 22nd and 25th at 4 p.m on the main WNIT channel 34.1. WNIT is also available on all the local cable and satellite networks.
FiveCore Media's documentary Vital Passage is coming to River Bend Film Festival this weekend. The documentary chronicles a local family's amazing story as they risked their business and livelihood to provide a vital passage for Jews escaping the Holocaust.
This screening will be featured on opening night of the festival so make sure to get tickets at Riverbendfilmfest.com!
Court Templeton and Jackson Steinmetz's documentary is coming to River Bend Film Festival. Produced by FiveCore Media, Blosser's Park: The Social Gathering Place of Goshen shines a light on the park that once made its home on the island in the middle of the Goshen Dam Pond, as well as hearing stories from community members that went to the park in their youth and from historians who share the legacy it left behind.

Our documentary is a Heartland Film Official Selection and we are beyond grateful to be a part of one of the best film festivals in the country. The screening will be tomorrow night (Friday, October 8th) at 5:30pm. If you can't make it tomorrow night and would still like to go the next screening will be Sat, Oct 16 @ 3:30pm. We won an Emmy!! Our production of Goshen College Music Department’s Festival of Carols won a Nataslgl Regional Emmy. We are humbled and excited to share this with our amazing GC Communication Dept. Students. #lgl2021emmys #awards
We won a gold Telly award!
Lastly, and definitely not least, we won a gold Telly for our “River Bend Film Festival Welcome Video” which won in the Branded Content: Student category! Students Shianne Harrison, Eric Miller, and Jeremiah Sherrill lead the project, and many of our staff helped along the way!
FiveCore’s own Court Templeton and 91.1 The Globe’s DJ Kadie Daye won a bronze Telly in the Online Commercial: PSA category! They did amazing on their piece titled “Mask Up GC.” Amazing work and congratulations!! It’s a huge accomplishment!
FiveCore Media won 2 bronze Tellys (on a national level!) for Goshen College’s Festival of Carols 2020. The 1st award was for the entirety of the program, awarded as a Live Event for Television. It’s also nominated for a Regional Emmy award. Congrats to everyone who worked on it!
