Pet of the Week - Legacy
On Around 10: It may not feel like it right now, but the dog days of summer are winding down—at the Franklin County Humane Society at least. You’ve got one more week to adopt an adult dog for free, like 1-year-old shepherd mix Legacy, this week’s Pet of the Week. Puppies are also available at half the normal adoption fee. The dog days of summer at the Humane Society wraps up next Friday, September 1st.

House of Commons - Around 10 8/25/2023
On Around 10: Development downtown has been ramping up recently with several historic buildings undergoing renovations for new business ideas. The House of Commons Bourbon Library is one of the most recent additions, opening only a few weeks ago. We stopped by to take a look around and talk to the developers about what inspired them. The Bourbon Belle Boat Tour | Around 10 5/26/2023
The folks at Kentucky River Tours recently added a new vessel to their Bourbon Boat Tours. It’s christened the Bourbon Belle, and they invited us along for a ride on its first season of tours. Kentucky River Boats has been partnering with Buffalo Trace for the past six years, and they offer one-of-a-kind packages that include various distillery tours along with the River Boat tour.
