Stormin' Norman and Son Texas' Best Boot Shines

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Norman, but I’m more commonly known as “Stormin’ Norman” or “the King of Shines”. I got my start in the boot shine business 1980 in Fort Worth. I've owned and operated many shine stands during my career the most notable of which is 31 years at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I worked at Billy Bob's Texas for

13 years, the Longhorn Saloon for 8 years, Executive Hair Suite in Tower II for 8 years, and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo for 5 years. I feel that over the years I have perfected the art of boot shine. Most recently, he shined shoes at the Barber Shop at the Gunter Hotel in downtown San Antonio. The Barber shop has been in continuous operation for over 100 years and has an extensive clientele of local businessmen, lawyers, politicians, clergy members, and tourists. Drew has had newspaper articles written about him highlighting his professionalism, hard work, and dedication to his craft.
