I’ve gotten a ton of comments and dms about my kitchen details, so here are as many specifics as I can think to share!
Feel free to ask more below 😌 I girl boss but I don’t gatekeep🙅🏼‍♀️

A few notes:

All my outlets are hidden under the upper cabinets, and I love the clean look it gives my backsplash.

A two piece cooktop + stovetop has a more elevated look than a one piece unit (imo). Make sure they’re compatible before purchasing!

You can’t see it here but the cabinet to the far right has sliding pocket doors to hide my toaster, microwave and coffee maker. (Must have!!)

The drawer at the end of the island has an outlet inside for electronic charging without a cluster of unsightly cord on my countertop.

As you’ve seen I diy’d the brick backsplash and I made multiple videos about it!! Difficult but very worth it in the end.

Drawer pulls are linked on my Amazon storefront, along with the microwave, toaster, sink, and some of the glassware.

2023 highlights✨

-I built and moved into a brand new house.🏠
-I celebrated one year together with Justin and fell more in love with him every day.👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻
-I visited the US Virgin Islands and discovered that I love snorkeling.🤿
-I wrote and published three novels.📚
-Malachi learned to read and lost his first tooth.🦷
-Marilyn had her very first dance recital and learned to swim.🩰
-My little sister got engaged and asked me to be her maid of honor!💍

For 2024 I have a ton of goals✨

This year I want to prioritize my overall health. I don’t have a goal weight or a calorie limit, but I do want to eat at home more, add in more fresh fruit and vegetables to my diet as well as drink more water.
I want to get my body moving every day in some way that I enjoy like walking, pickle ball, or with a workout buddy. I want to start using a daily planner.
I want to get up earlier and spend an hour every morning moving slow, drinking coffee and preparing for the day without rushing into it.
I want to write and publish three books in a new series! If you don’t know, the other me is 🩷
I want to start another book club because I miss it so much!
I want to slow down a bit and stop pressuring myself to be all things at one time.
Most of all, I want to love Justin and my two babies with everything I have while spending more quality time with them this year.✨

RECIPE ⬇️(save it for later!) -1 lb ground beef -half an onion (diced) -4 bell peppers (or 8 if you want to stuff them all) -2 cups cooked rice (I use frozen white rice) -1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes -2 cups italian shredded cheese (i like @sargentofamily) -2 TBPS minced garlic -1 tsp paprika -1 tsp basil -2 tsp Italian season -salt and peppe to taste Start by chopping off the bell pepper tops and hollowing them out. I also sliced a little off of the bottoms that wouldn’t stand upright. Submerge them in a pot of boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Use the remaining bell pepper tops and dice them up along with the onion. Cook onion, diced bell pepper and garlic in a large pan for a few minutes with olive oil. Add meat and brown. Season with all spices. Once cooked through, add the fire roasted tomatoes, rice, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stuff peppers (you should have half the filling left if you only use 4 peppers). Top with more cheese and bake for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
