Good Morning everyone!! Heres a funny story to start your weekend off right. I had to go to Best Buy yesterday for some supplies. Well They didn't have everything I needed at the first store but they had another location about 9 miles away that had the rest of the things I needed. So they ordered it for me and I drove to the second Best Buy and got curbside pickup. Everthing was going smooth until I left the store. I was using my GPS to get back home and we all know technology is great but sometimes it makes mistakes too. So I pulled out the road was under construction so I missed the left turn I was suppose to make but no problem my GPS said I could drive down a couple miles. and take the next left. So I get to my next turn and start driving down the road and there's speed bumps I n the middle of the road. I thought that was weird but my GPS said to keep going. The road eventually turns to dirt and I'm like where the heck am I. The further I drive on the road I'm only seeing Mack trucks filled with gravel and sand but I keep going cause I trust my gps. Finally after driving miles and on this sand road that was surrounded by huge mounds of sand and retaining ponds I see a white truck so I flag them down and said I'm not sure if I'm going the right way or not but does this road go to 82 cause my GPS is saying I'm on the right road but it just seems a little strange. The guys start laughing. they say your'e in the middle of a mining field and there's no exit that hits 82. So Here I am trespassing, lost, surrounded by nothing but sand hoping my car will make it out of this mess. The guys were nice enough to lead me out. I guess the moral of the story is you can't always trust technology. There was one a road there that went through to 82 but was covered over when the mines were put in.
