**Plot Line Records News Alert**

-my band (Timberline) now has it's own page! you can follow it here: -- lizzie and i now both have film cameras, and this new page will mostly document what those cameras capture (speaking of which, these new artist photos are courtesy of ) in additional to tour info/album releases/etc...

-2023 has hardly started and it's already made me have to reassess my life, my priorities, and my general attitude in terms of productivity and what i'm sending out into the world... with that said, i've decided to take this label more seriously and try my best to do what i can for my artists in terms of marketing and cultivating their own musical community! i've always been really proud of the albums we've produced, but have always stopped their lifespan short by doing essentially zero marketing after their release, not to mention not playing live or branching out to new communities.

I want to not only help cultivate meaning in my artists and myself, but also empower that meaning beyond the confines of my small recording room. there's a lot to learn, and the music industry is a tumultuous beast, but at the very least i want to go down swinging doing something i believe matters!

- LP3 Update: due to a family health crisis on my side (that has since gotten much better and things are returning to normal) macy's next album will most likely see a may/june release, with potentially some singles releasing in April! really excited about it!! :D

hello hi hello; any local FoCo musicians interested in playing some shows with me (jesse) ((timberline)) this summer? O: most likely just some open mics and house shows.. super low pressure! aiming for 1 show a week starting in May/June with practice starting hopefully as asap as possible.

specifically, what i'm looking for most is a light percussionist. after that, i'd love just any general multi-instrumentalists and a female vocalist!

it is so cathartic to be finished with this album: where as Floris took a month to record and energized my musical ambitions, Marce took roughly 11 months and left me almost wanting to quit music at various points :O tough stuff. the finishing of this companion/outtake/inverse album to Floris is absolutely completely indebted to & (who also provides vocals once again on the album + songwriting on “Lucid”) for their encouragement and constant checking up on me and Marce.

the album is roughly an hour long, so for those who don’t quite have that amount of time to spare, some highlights are: “Won”, “Days Better”, “Bye”, “Fade”, “Florid”, & “Marcescence”!

thanks to everyone!! also, it may be quite a while until i record the next album ‘Polaris’.... so in the meantime, for those interested, i’ll be posting b-sides, demos, and outtakes on my side project

new album trailer for my next album ‘Marcescence’ is up on youtube! (link below)

marce is a companion album to ‘florescence’, built up of songs that didn’t quite fit the thematics of floris. while at first it felt like a “b-side record”, it’s slowly started to mean just as much to me as floris does and has grown to have its own unique identity that i’m really proud of and i hope others will enjoy it too!

extremely grateful to rachel for continuing to provide vocals for the album (all the way from africa!) and trey for providing the art for this music video!
