So I decided to make a time lapse of one of the companys my wife works for. I had an idea, that a time lapse would make a great banner for a face book page. I think it turned out, what do you guys think?

Fixing My Drone

I recently had an accident with my drone. While flying the drone sideways, it took a hard crash breaking a wing on either side. I took on a task I was unsure I could handle. I opened up the $1,500 dollar Mavic Pro and began operarting. I was hoping to properly fix the broken wings and bring life back to the drone. Luckily the operation was successful. If you watched my recent stories, you saw the rebirth of the Mavic Pro drone. I flew the drone for a half an hour, using up an entire battery, with zero problems. Another successful repair to add to the books!

One of my First Ever Timelapses 🔥

Heres a small capture I took 📸 (one of my first) when I was headed home from work. I spend alot of time traveling the state with my job and all the time I'm like, "Thats it, I have to pull over." Well fortently for my boss I dont pull over every time. This location is a spot that I have watched over the years and it always has soming magical happening. I stoped on that bridge that day and wached the sunset. This is the clip from that.

So I had been havin a problem with the timelapse function of my 📸 Sony A7rii (cus its an app and not actually a part of the camera like the newer Sony's) where it would take the pictures, but they would be saved as some small hard to read file. At the point of this timelapse I had preaty much givin up hope.🙍🏽‍♂️So I set the camera to do like I always do and take the pictures meanwile I flew drone for the primary footage. The drone shots ending up turning out but I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of this timelapse. Heres to not giving up!

This is a beautiful time lapse that I woke up early to go get. That day I headed to the beach around 4am to find a location but when I got there it started raining... watch videos for more.. One thing I forgot to mention was that I ended up meeting another photographer on the beach that day that was in town for vacation. The interesting part was that we both use the same camera and had been for several years. I was able to pick up a few tricks and show him something about time lapses. #alwayslearning

Heres a capture I was able to get a week before all the beaches opend in SC. I went to Charlston to try to get beach footage but they where only alowing ppl that lived by the beach🏖to access. It was pretty strict but after being turned around with a little bit of forced creativity I found this spot. Heres to not giving up.🙌

No memory is ever alone; it's at the end of a trail of memories, a dozen trails that each have their own associations. . . I've been sitting on this time lapse for awhile now trying to figure out how I wanted to edit it. After spending alot of time on just balancing colors and picking the best light trails images I settled on 200 images. I took that and imported it in to video editor to create this. I know it's only a 14sec clip but I took a good bit of time to get there.
