Our Story
River Run Dachshunds is located on the east coast of North Carolina just west of the many beautiful beaches in a small town called Elizabethtown, NC . My dachshunds are very well loved, socialized and get to play and exercise daily. As a dachshund breeder, my goal is to produce beautiful, loving miniature dachshunds that become cherished pets for families nationwide . Here at River Run Dachshunds , I breed CKC and AKC registered pups as well as (PET ONLY) . Many families prefer no registration for their companion so therefore I do offer (Pet Only) . My miniatures range from 8-11 pounds. Height ranges from 5-8 inches tall. I also look for many different coats, patterns and colors . I mainly specialize in smooth coats only ! My colors include creams, blacks , dapple , reds , chocolates , blues , piebalds . I treat every puppy like a pet from the moment he or she is born . My adults and newborns are treated with love and compassion from the day he or she is born . My line produces quite temperament pups that will ensure a loving pet for your (home) family . We started breeding in 2012 and have had Dachshunds going back 20 years. We’ve always loved the breed, and now we strive to produce loving pets for your family also. We will be only offering AKC registered pups by Summer of 2020.
