You don't always have the time or budget to get content feedback from your audience until after your content is live.
So, it's a critical shift to move from 'what the brand needs to say' to 'what the audience needs to hear'.
View your own content from the audience mindset and think;
- How did this make me feel?
- What did this make me want to do?
- Do I trust and connect with this content?
Every method you can use to communicate a creative idea is critical.
One of our favorites and a clear industry standard is Storyboards.
Then, cutting out each frame and sequencing it into a video creates an Animatic.
They don't have to always be gorgeous either ππ»ββοΈ
just start by getting those doodles onto paper!

When I started creating films for businesses, I thought only about the production, not about what offering a service would make me into.

Your film doesn't have to come from the perspective of "we".
So, what do "we" mean by that?
Before even starting to write a script, consider the possible perspectives to write from;
The perspective of the brand
The perspective of an employee
The perspective of a third party narrator
The perspective of the customer
The perspective of a person connected to the customer
When you first consider your story from all these perspective options, it opens your creativity to create a more engaging film.
He's been called a talent whisperer, star wars aficionado, and 'daddy' by two little tikes.

Audio, Editor, Animator, and now Creative Director, Steve has worn nearly every hat at Union over the last 12 years. Not to mention bringing in the hardware with multiple Emmy, Telly, and one Stevie Award (named after himself?).
