Is there on dish that you make that people always say, "OH you have to make this for the party!" OR is there one thing that you scan the 4th of July picnic spread hoping to see?
Amy Anderson was my best friend growing up, her family had a 4th of July party every year. I got to stay out past the "streetlight rules" Her Dad, Carl, got all the "good" fireworks and we played volleyball and we got to have soda....Amy's Mom, Jeannine, made this fruit dip that had Gran Marnier in it and she would slice fresh fruits to dip in it. (the peaches were my favorite)
That is the one dish I wish I could make the same way or see on a table at a summer picnic....

Get ready for a star-spangled spread. 🇺🇸

I loved her so much when I was little!
A trailer for “Shari & Lamb Chop” dropped yesterday that chronicles the rise, fall and rise again of Lewis and her puppets Lamb Chop, Hush Puppy, and Charlie Horse. The project is directed by Lisa D'Apolito and gives fans a look into who Shari Lewis was beyond her puppets. The film hits theaters on July 18.

Dilemma: some purple finch have created a lovely little nest in my geranium.
It’s hot out there and that thing needs to be watered.
Do I ….
A: let the hanging plant die and have a dead center hanging in between the 3
B: water gingerly around the nest so as not to disturb Bebe birdies
C: maybe one of those glass bulb watering thingies that will keep it watered down deep?
D: leave a suggestion in the comments
