Be careful out there folks, some people have no regard for other people's safety. They just want to get where they're going as fast as possible while breaking as many traffic laws as they can along the way.
This could have ended badly for the Toyota headed towards me if they weren't paying attention. I'm glad nobody was hurt.
"Dramatic video of a fiery semi crash on the Cimarron Turnpike about a week ago. This video is from the semi-truck that was stopped on the south shoulder. The driver of another semi traveling the same direction fell asleep at the wheel and swerved into the semi on the shoulder, hit the diesel tank, sparked and caught fire. That truck was hauling alcohol, which made it difficult to put out the fire. Amazingly, there were no serious injuries out of this crash."

Three Vehicle Accident
There was an accident involving three vehicles on Wednesday evening around 3pm. According to the police report, 65-year-old Shari Stricklin was driving her 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 North on 16th Street towards Maine. Stricklin's vehicle struck the parked mail truck operated by 52-year-old Damon Weber. Weber was ejected out the right side of the vehicle and the mail truck continued into the property at 1601 E Maine and hit the rear of the house. Stricklin's vehicle continued North and struck the rear of another vehicle, a 2024 Ford Transit owned by ServPro of Edmond and operated by 24-year-old Charles Burgett. This collision stopped the Dodge Ram but Sticklin continued to have her foot on the accelerator pedal and the tires spun until 'a majority of the tread was removed', according to the police report. The spinning of the tires left tire width divots in the asphalt about a half of an inch deep. Stricklin was not injured but stated that she did not remember the incident at all. Burgett refused treatment at the scene and Weber was transported to Integris Health Enid Hospital by private vehicle.
