The paper has been dropped off at the post office, Big C’s, The Little Store and Moores. It looks different this week on how it printed out and the entire paper is black and white. This was out of my control and I am not sure how long it is going to be like this. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Editorial: I've completely stayed away from politics for a couple of years now. It's about more than just politics these days. It's about more than just one candidate running for president. We are involved in wars that we shouldn't be. We have families that can't afford to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads in this country!
We have a president that can't even string together a sentence pushing the world toward the brink of nuclear annihilation.
Perhaps the saddest thing is hearing people that are upset because a 20 year old with obvious mental issues didn't accomplish the heinous act he set out to do. Shame on all of you that feel that way. Every single life is precious. This is who I support.

Papers might be delayed this week. The printing press in Liberal broke down. They weren’t able to fix it, so they had to take everything to Cimarron to be printed. In order to be printed the entire paper will be printed in black and white. I will now be picking up papers tomorrow morning and will get them out as soon as possible.

The Post Office will be closed Wednesday, June 19th. Papers will be mailed out first thing Thursday morning.

After two days of being on the phone with the Postal Service I think all issues with submitting my paperwork electronically have been resolved. After years of taking in hard copies, they now want my reports submitted electronically. It is a change and with change come hiccups. So please be patient. All papers have been delivered to the post office this morning for mailing. If you do not receive your paper, please let me know. Thank you!

On April 14, the OSBI, FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, Texas County Sheriff's Department, and the Office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner recovered two deceased persons in rural Texas County.

Both individuals will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine identification, as well as cause and manner of death. This is still an ongoing investigation.

We are “Protecting Oklahoma one Partnership at a time.”

Presidential Preference Primary is today! Voting started at 7:00 a.m. and will continue until 7:00 p.m. Voting places in Morton County are the Morton County Courthouse and the Rolla Activity Center.

Print time for the paper has changed from this afternoon to tomorrow morning, in order to publish the results.
