April has been a month dedicated to the Godfather of House. There have been so many remarkable sets posted by DJ's from all around. The House Music Community truly knows how to come together when it counts. That was evident from the spectacular send off for Frankie in Chicago and New York.
I feel so blessed to have had several opportunities to celebrate the life and legacy of Frankie Knuckles. For me it has been an honor to express my gratitude for someone who has ultimately inspired me. So, of course I could not allow the month to end without the Decipher Power Hour bringing some heat!! One thing about the tribute sessions I have done, each have featured completely different tracks. Though my sets tend to be organic and unplanned, my intent has been to showcase the full gamut of Frankie's arsenal. So, I guess you can say I got a little caught in the groove!
