For the first time ever, they are canceling the entire weekend of races at Beaver Creek. High winds and heavy snow on the course. No Super G today. The races won't be rescheduled for Monday either.
Sunday's festivities in Beaver Creek Village have been canceled as well.

9am UPDATE: Due to the present weather situation with ongoing work on the track and heavy winds, the Birds of Prey race jury along with the Vail Valley Foundation have decided to CANCEL today's (Saturday) downhill race.
The Super G is still scheduled for tomorrow.
All of the festivities continue as scheduled in Beaver Creek Village today.

Today's Downhill has been canceled. Too much snow last night and poor visibility today. They'll reconvene tonight and hopefully we'll have the downhill from Beaver Creek tomorrow at 10:45a live on KZYR.

Big day of high school sports tomorrow. Vail Christian volleyball is in the post season and hosting a tournament in Region 9 of 2A. They'll start off with Byers in the first match. Ignacio is also in the round robbin.

Vail Christian football is in the post season and plays Dove Creek tomorrow afternoon at 1p.

Eagle Valley Volleyball will host the Region 7 tournament this weekend. The 7th seeded Devils start with Severance.

Battle Mountain volleyball is in the post season playing on the road this weekend at The Classical Academy.

Battle Mountain soccer will host Niwot tomorrow afternoon at 5 in Edwards.
