Crazy to say but

and I decided last minute to drive to Sedona to see the sunset but didn’t even get to the location we planned because we saw this!

It was honestly some of the strangest weather I had ever see! Clear skies all around us but light rain falling from a bright yellow sky making everything orange-tinted, and of course this vivid rainbow over the red-rocks that surprised us as we winded around a bend in the canyon.

Really awesome that we decided to make the trip lol

Some cool clouds to start off the morning near the Hopi Buttes north of Winslow and some of the awesome formations in the San Juan Valley.

The last picture is of ‘The Hogback,’ a mysterious incline that is said to be the home of strange shadowy creatures that are taboo to even talk about by their name.

On this day in 2017, I saw a total solar eclipse. I take pictures of a lot of cool things and places, but I’ve never seen anything else like this supernatural feeling event. The few others I’ve met who have also seen an eclipse in totality have all come to the same independent conclusions: it must have been seen as a cataclysmic event for early humans, unable to forecast them. Honestly like looking into the eye of a thousand ancient gods. If y’all have the opportunity to see the one coming up this year, DO IT.

Believe it or not, it has snowed on the mountains here again in Flagstaff. In May. In Arizona… but yeah, some unusually gloomy weather the past couple days, but really loving the refreshed snow-cap look on the San Francisco Peaks! Also crazy that I got to this view just about a minute’s walk from my front door! #🏔

After 3 separate shoots in winter, summer, and studio, a Glasswing album, moving across the country, and starting a new job, I’m so glad this will finally be released for everyone to see!

03/14/2023

We’re dropping a music video next week for our song “From Rivers to Oceans” featuring Kyle Myers of Glasswing!
This is sort of a full circle moment for us. This song was the first song we wrote that actually made it to the album. The video itself was filmed about 2 years ago, back before the name “Higher Vibration” was even a thought in our minds. Being that this song is all about the never-ending changes in life, it feels very fitting to be able to look back years later and reflect on where we were mentally, physically, and spiritually at the time. This video is likely going to be the final piece of content we drop in relation to our first album before moving on to some fresh tunes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

HUGE thanks to our dude Kyle Myers of Glasswing and Striation Arts for creating this video with us! From enduring the below-freezing shores of Lake Erie, to exploring the beautiful trails of Cook Forest, what an adventure this video was to make! The quality is above anything we’ve released before and we’re so stoked for everyone to see the final product!!
