Meet the new general manager of Fighting Scots Radio Sophia Elder!
Sophia is a junior majoring in Strategic Communications. They joined the radio staff in fall of 2021, worked as program director in 2023, and recently stepped into the role of general manager. Sophia's show "Get Loud" is a "mixture of indie, grunge, punk and all things alternative". Sophia also is a member of the Applied Communicators of Edinboro and the PennWest Edinboro Singers where they help run the Tik Tok.

Lock Haven, Pa. -- Bruno Sabio was named PSAC Athlete of the Year and head coach Cody Duncan was named Coach of the Year with six Edinboro players earning First-Team All-Conference honors announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon.

"Throughout faculty consolidation, budget issues, staff shortages, and outdated technology and equipment, student volunteers and faculty advisors work tirelessly to support and sustain campus media. Students are doing their job and yet, they are met with diminishing resources."

While the university branding claims to offer an expanded array of programs, in reality, programs are constantly consolidated, leaving students and faculty with sparse resources.
