August 21, 2024, is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. Two milligrams of Fentanyl can be lethal depending on a person’s body size, tolerance and past usage.

Fentanyl is harmful to our communities and also destroys families. This illicit drug is known to cause overdoses. The City of Eden Police Department has a ZERO Tolerance policy when it comes to the selling narcotics. When it comes to narcotics, Fentanyl is a major concern, not only to the citizens but to all of our first responders.

After a through Investigation Sgt. Hash has secured warrants on Timothy Lee Milton Glass for the following:
•Manufacture/Sell/Deliver/Possess Fentanyl within 1,000 Feet of a School/Park
•Sell and Deliver Sch I (Fentanyl)
•Possession with intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Sch I (Fentanyl)
•Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for keeping/selling Sch I (Fentanyl)

Anyone with information about this incident or information about Timothy’s whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt.
