Jarrow Wahman thought getting Matt Welch to run the LaVonna 1-Miler "would make it interesting."
"He was too good," Wahman said.

The 29-year-old biked 35 miles from Duluth to Cloquet, won the Sawdust 5K, ran the race in reverse, won a second mile race and biked back to Duluth for an Independence Day cookout.
