This group is for all students, professionals, followers and members of the University of North Texas Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ). We meet monthly (message us for more information). Established in 1984, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the communications indust

ry. With over 2,000 members, NAHJ's mission is to increase the number of Latino journalists working in the country's newsrooms and improving the coverage of the Latino community by the news media. Chapter of the University of North Texas of NAHJ, reinstated in 2008, has the mission to provide professional development to its members so that they can acquire and apply their knowledge in various areas of communications.
