Both Jeff and Nancy Rezman have experienced the paranormal since young children. After being together for a time, they had a shared encounter and opened to each other about their paranormal pasts. They have shared theirs and other’s stories on their show One Foot Out of the Grave and have had the pleasure to meet some impressive people and formed lifelong friendships.

They found the “Spirit Box” on accident while visiting a haunted location in Wisconsin and from that time, have become quite knowledgeable and have used it to help people speak to and hear from loved ones. Using the “Box” at locations helps highlight the experience for others as well as assisting spirits with crossing over. They have made non-believers aware that communication does happen, especially when someone recognizes a voice, hears a special message, or just has their name called out.

They also use their abilities to assist paranormal groups at remote locations with hauntings and take special care to help children with spirit issues and educate parents to understand what their child is experiencing.

Afterlife Paranormal Conference welcomes Dan Norvell and Larry Eissler III!

There is no name more well known in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin regions than Black
Hawk, the Sauk war chief and leader of the Rock River Sauk natives known as the British Band. In April of 1832, Black Hawk and his Band crossed into Illinois and engaged in the last Native American war fought on the east side of the Mississippi River. The war would inevitably come to an end at the Battle of Bad Axe, near present-day Victory, Wisconsin, where the remainder of Black Hawk’s forces were slaughtered mercilessly. Between all of the events of the war, an approximate 77 settlers, militiamen, and army regulars would lose their lives compared to an estimated 450 to 600 British Band and their allies. Of the numerous battle sites located in Northern Illinois, paranormal activity has been observed at nearly all of them; however, the activity at the Stillman’s Run and Kellogg’s Grove memorial sites are the most active and have the most recorded evidence. Join Dan Norvell and Larry Eissler III, from the PARAFlixx Original series Expedition Entity, as they present the history of the Black Hawk War and the ghosts that still haunt the Illinois countryside at 1:30pm.

Jen Jons will be conducting a Ouiji Board Gallery Reading at Afterlife Paranormal Con November 6th at 12:30pm. She will be using the Ouiji Board to bring messages from the other side. Afterlife Paranormal Conference welcomes Albert Kelchner!

Ouija, The Talking Board, its history and use. Is it good or evil?

One of the first mentions of the automatic writing method used in the Ouija board is found in China around 1100 AD, in historical documents of the Song Dynasty. The method was known as Fuji “planchette writing" and popularized in the United States nearly 800-years later by the spiritualist movement. Is the board good or evil?

In this presentation at 11:30am, Al Kelchner, owner of Willow Creek Farm will share the board’s history, its use and also excerpts from actual sessions held at the farm.

Willow Creek is a small working farm nestled in the rolling hills of rural northwestern Illinois just 45 miles southeast of historic, haunted Galen is considered by paranormal investigators and others to be not only one of the most haunted private residences in the state but also a place for spiritual awakening and enlightenment. The farm has been presented on My Ghost Story, Paranormal Survivor and the Living Dead Paranormal YouTube video The Farm with over a million views.

The CAPS team travels across Wisconsin and beyond in search of answers to UFOs, the paranormal and cryptids and how they are all connected presenting their findings in a bi monthly documentary series on their YouTube channel Wisconsin CAPS. Alongside the team, Barnaby has has several Sasquatch and Paranormal encounters to date.

Barnaby Jones will give a presentation on Cryptozoology Creatures at 5:30pm!

2022 VENUE UPDATE: As mentioned in a previous post, our original venue has stopped doing any private bookings. Fortunately, we have been able to book Northern Illinois University's Altgeld Hall, an even larger venue only a mile away from the original. What is great about this is that the venue is larger, allowing us to produce a bigger event for everyone to enjoy and also the fact that Altgeld Hall is a REAL CASTLE!

However, to fit into the new venue's availability, we have been forced to change dates. The newly contracted date is Sunday, November 6th, 2022. (We will also be hosting the Historic Crimes Con in the same venue a day prior, on November 5th - Combo tickets will be made available).

We hope you will join us for a great true crime event this Fall!

15 years ago today Breaking Fate Entertainment launched with it's first event, The WRA Spook Show at the Independent Rock Barn in DeKalb, Illinois. Over the last decade I have rebranded twice (from Twisted Wish Productions, to Spook Show Entertainment and finally Breaking Fate Entertainment), I have grown BFE to produce films, events and art on a national scale and feature art from all over the world in my festivals and events. I have worked to produce, promote and distribute art for thousands of artists. It has been a true honor to bring the best in independent art and entertainment in all media types to the eyes of art lovers everywhere. Many thanks to all who have been involved in and supported my vision and mission for the last ten year and for decades to come.
