We have just received this video from the Moffat County Sheriffs Office. Wildfire crews along with Bureau Of Land Management and Craig Fire are actively fighting a wildland fire in the area of Moffat County Road 5 and 17. It’s estimated at about 170 acres and the cause is undetermined at this time. This is about 25 miles northwest of Craig.
It was messy and sticky, but loads of fun. Here is the start to Saturday's Pie-Eating Contest at the Moffat County Fair.
Moffat County Commissioner Tony Bohrer had to Kiss the Pig Saturday night. Actually, Kyler Scott won but he paid the difference to make Tony Bohrer be the winner. The contest raised $1,316 for the Moffat County 4H program.

UPDATE at 1:13 p.m. Hwy 40 is open.
Highway 40 is closed from Craig to Maybell due to blizzard ground conditions. Moffat County Sheriff Officers are helping motorists get off the roadway. They ask that you not try to travel until the storm subsides.
