After the small team meeting pertaining to only a few last revisions (I felt were of little significance)...2/3 of us agreed to go to script. However, the pesky writer felt a quick 4th outline was in order, just for himself, before beginning 😄. I don't have to tell those of you that know me, I will undoubtedly go over it. The writer wants to be thorough? Game on. We are so close. Today, I felt supported and trusted as pivotal decisions were made. It feels nice among experienced, intelligent, respected industry people. I am confident and ready to direct. 📣 I can't wait to share this story.

Independent Filmmakers? Let's get some things straight.

Mission Statement:
1. My projects WILL be completed and distributed. If that means I have to take a financial loss or make it available free of charge, I will. The cast, crew, and team's work WILL be seen.
2. Personal gain, profit, politics, nepotism and popularity are not priorities. The project comes 1st.
3. I expect a code of honor among the cast, crew, and the entire team. I will be professional and do as I say. I expect the same in return. Be professional. Be prepared. Be on time.
4. Your investment, sacrifice, talent and time will be appreciated, not just used.
5. I alone bare the burden of any "unexpected expenses". NO part of production, completion, or distribution will be stopped or delayed for a GoFundMe or IndyGoGo campaign.
6. My communication and intentions will be transparent. Most interactions with me will be within a public group. Private conversations, interactions, and ill advised messaging with me will be held to an absolute minimum.
7. If I do well. You do well.
8. I will do everything within my power to make every aspect of the film the absolute best it can be. I will NOT settle.

Today the writer delivered Outline #1. I am very pleased. It's all there... the story, concept, characters, plot, twist, and ending. He gave it his personal touch and added some necessary substory as well. I honestly anticipated a lot more revision. So nicely done. I do not forsee much adjustment or tweaking. A little polish and a meeting or two and this baby is going to script.

Director's Log:

Yesterday's meeting was productive and suprisingly fun. The team is small for now but I like them very much. Assembling a good team is tough in a world chock full of bu****it. We're off to a stellar start 👍👍. My concept and story have completely come together, and you're gonna LOVE it..I promise. The outline/writing starts now. That requires investment so we officially began spending today. Progress and surrounding yourself with others that believe in your goal is a reward. I love that feeling.
