Introducing our 2023 Intern Class! We are thrilled to have Maya and Victoria in our studio this summer. Read below to get to know more about them:
Maya - "Maya Chaffin is a rising sophomore Film and Television Major at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She is studying to become a director, and one of her future goals is to own a film studio that specializes in telling true and authentic stories. At Kinopicz American, Maya is looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience in the film industry such as camera movement, lighting, and the overall production process.”
Victoria - “Victoria Read recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Film Production. She is pursuing a career in the camera and lighting departments, with the end goal of becoming a Director of Photography. While at Kinopicz, Victoria hopes to gain a greater understanding of production as well as experience working with industry professionals and equipment.”

Twelve years ago, six of Columbus' most storied bands came together to pay tribute to our departed friend, the legendary DJ Andy "Andyman" Davis. Tonight Gateway Film Center will screen our documentary concert film, This One's for Andy, with all proceeds going to Andy's legacy charity, CD 92.9 FM For the Kids. Meetup in the lounge starts at 6pm, screening at 9pm. Link to tickets are in the bio.
