The idea started in the winter of 2015 when two avid golfers out of Columbus, Ohio were itching to play but couldn't because of the weather. Since they live and breath golf, Corbin Russell (Lakes Golf & Country Club) and Graham Campbell (Hickory Hills Golf Club) decided to start and Instagram account under the name Golf Starz () to entertain golfers just like themselves. They post a lot

of original content but would not be where they are without the help of the Golf Starz community and the amazing people of Instagram. They also have been featured on a number of other famous sites, including Whistle Sports and Greatest Sporting Moments which both have over a million followers. The idea and the brand took off on social media so they decided to open an online shop to give the people what they want: golf apparel and accessories for regular golfers.
