I look forward to the day when cars can drive themselves so I can continue to post on FB when taking road trips alone! TONIGHT it's Dale and Ray at Knuckleheads Saloon in Kansas City, MO! Here's all you need to know: https://www.facebook.com/events/1151890494918830/
Check them out doing "Write Your Own Songs" this past Wednesday night in St. Louis! :-) See ya tonight! Kansas City here I come! Lol!
I said in a post last night it's probably best I'm alone when I plan my shows. I guess I should've said alone as in no humans around. :-) Fortunately I always have the best company a man could ever ask for. Next week I'll play a bunch of Christmas Music on The Real Deal Country Show, but this week I'll sneak a couple Christmas tunes in from CD's released this year. I bet there's still time to get your copy of "Ameripolitan Christmas" by The Band Walenia! It's a hit at my house and obviously very relaxing if Sassy's reaction is accurate indicator! Lol! Woody
It's probably best I'm alone when I plan my shows. I can be rather serious, staring at the screen, listening closely to the music and the words. Both need to move me, sometimes to tears, sometimes to frown, sometimes to smile and sometimes even to laugh. Ameripolitan, Classic/Traditional Country are just one of many choices on most folk's musical buffet. Yes I listen to different genres from time to time for variety but for me Ameripolitan, Classic/Traditional Country is always my main course. Yep, I'll be playing "The Steel Guitar Song" by Kimberly Murray tonight on Midnight Country. Whether I'll be crying, frowning, smiling or laughing will depend on the mood I'm in at the moment. Joy has told me I'm a different person once I turn on the mic. So the odds are pretty good I'll be smiling as I think about living my dream of playing the music I love on the radio. :-) Woody
"Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?" by Jo-el & LeAnne Ulmer who are doing just that! 2Country4Nashville put on a great show last night at The Route Z Classic Country Barn & Grill!
