Hey Fam! I’m partnering with Kent State’s School of Public Health to present to you TRANSITIONS: A Night of New Works by Me . Come out and hear some never before heard pieces and ideas I’ve been working on over the past year. Entry is ‼️FREE‼️so long as you complete Kent State’s Community Needs Assessment. There will also be an artist Q&A afterwards where you can pick my brain.

Zuggie’s mom is facing eviction + utility disconnection and is in need of support to remain housed. She is the primary caregiver for her father suffering from memory loss and has been impacted by a loss in wages. We need at least $2500 to keep this Black mom housed: $1660 for two months back rent and an additional $800 for May rent. We are raising an additional $1000 for utility payments ($160 for light and gas), legal fees ($500 to process the application for power of attorney), and food and transportation funds for the month of May.

Competitor announcement: Hickey Hun; the kabuki kaiju kunt of the former Haus of Hun. An eclectic performer, combining elements of jazz, soul and metal for a full bodied vocal/stage performance. More club kid than standard beauty queen, they reference art styles from our Far East friends and embody the character of a Djinn. They are a singer-songwriter from Cleveland working steadfastly with The Robin Blake Sound Experiment, solo work VaughnMusic, and soon to come, Hickey and the CDs!

Competitor Announcement: An up and coming black A.F.A.B queen from the Cleveland area. I'm known for my statement diamond eyebrows. I am a member of the house of Nurve (Onya Nurve is my drag mother). My drag is a love letter to younger me who was afraid to step out into the spotlight. To younger me who was always the sassy black sidekick in everyones' live including my own. Drag is my way of healing and giving myself self love and opening myself to the world and showing what I can do.
